Alstom Hydro, a joint venture between Alstom and Bouygues, has over 400 GW of turbines and generators installed worldwide, which represent more than 25% of the total global hydropower installed capacity. As the world leader in the supply of hydropower equipment & services, Alstom Hydro offers products and turnkey solutions that cover all hydropower schemes, from large to small, from run-of-river to pumped storage. With more than 7,000 employees in 19 countries Alstom Hydro offers the broadest range of products and services for new installations, refurbishment, upgrading and services.

ALSTOM is one of the industrial partners in the ANASTASIA project.

The main activities of ALSTOM in ANASTASIA concern the manufacturing and testing of the demonstrator stator bar. A stator bar will be manufactured; it means the insulation will be applied with the developed tape and resin. After the insulation the bar will be tested to assess the performance of the insulation and to compare the results with the state of art insulation.

In addition ALSTOM will contribute to the tape specification and material selection for the resin.
