The 6-month Technical Meeting of the ANASTASIA project was held on June 29th 2010 at the University of Southampton (U.K.). During the meeting, all partners presented an update on the progress of their experimental work.
The technical presentations made during the technical meeting exposed the progress status of the experimental work by the various partners. The research groups concerned with materials development presented either preliminary experiments results or detailed experimental plans for the M6-M12 period. Research groups involved with the characterisation (electrical, mechanical, thermal, or thermomechanical) presented a summary of the characterisation techniques available in their respective laboratories as well as sample dimensions. Where applicable, the limitations of certain characterisation techniques were also stated. The meeting wrapped up with a presentation by vonRoll, which clearly exposed the technical requirements and specifications of the tapes and resins to be used on the mica-tape pilot line.
